The countries that signed the Paris agreement on climate change will not be re-considering any conditions of the document. This is mentioned in the joint statement signed by EU leaders, namely Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron and Paolo Gentiloni.

On June 1, U.S. President Donald Trump said his country withdraws from the agreement, insisting on new talks on this issue. In response, his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron said his country will not refuse from its commitments, which it took upon itself within the framework document.

The Canadian government joined the EU and China’s side, saying Ottawa would continue to cooperate with them in terms of the environmental policy.
