Donbas Militants' commander Motorola murdered

Russian militant Arsen Pavlov, nicknamed "Motorola" was murdered in the occupied Donetsk.

According to Russian news agency Interfax, he was in the epicenter of a bomb inside the elevator of his house, detonated remotely. Yuriy Tandit, the adviser to the head of the SBU, confirmed that on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to Russian media, the explosive was attached to the steel rope of an elevator.

They also inform that his body-guard was killed together with Pavlov.

Russian citizen Arsen Pavlov commanded an armed squad of separatists in 2014 during the fights near Sloviansk, Donetsk region. His so-called "Sparta Battalion" was considered to be elite among the rest of illegal armed groups in the occupied Donbas. "Motorola" participated in the battle near Ilovaisk and in the seizure of Donetsk airport. According to him, he personally shot dead 15 Ukrainian prisoners of war. However Interpol refused to put him on the international wanted list.
