'Crimean Titan' factory to stop working by September 9, locals still feel sick due to toxic emission

Crimean Titan factory will completely stop working by Sunday, September 9. Andriy Akulov, the Director General of the enterprise said that the process takes place gradually.

Currently, five of the eight factory’s furnaces are still running. According to Kherson city hall press office, the harmful emission still poisons the air, causing damage to the locals’ health as well.

Residents of Armyansk, Crimea, where the said factory is located, still complain about feeling sick after the initial emission of the toxic substance into the air.
