On Wednesday, the Russian court in the occupied Crimea chooses the measures of pre-trial restriction for nine Ukrainian sailors. They were among the 24 men captured during the attack on Ukrainian naval vessels in Kerch Strait that separates Russia from the occupied peninsula.

Russian prosecutors ask to put them behind the bars. 15 sailors, including the three wounded men, could not get the access to their lawyers. Instead, they have the ones assigned by the local illegitimate government. The Ukrainians plead not guilty, saying they never violated any borders.
