He has been a chief cook for 25 years, but abandoned everything and started making cheese. We continue with our "Close East" project, telling about Donbas entrepreneurs and public persons.

Today we have the story of Oleksandr Shkatula. 2 years ago he began producing cheese in his own kitchen. Now he became a professional cheesemaker. Ukraine gave him the money for the equipment. But, because of financial delay he almost gave up waiting. This is the story why we should always keep up the fight.

As part of the project #CloseEast112, we go on telling about people who make Donbass better for fellow countrymen and closer to the whole country. This film is presented by the 112 Ukraine TV channel in the framework of the project with the Ukraine Confidence Building Initiative (UCBI II), funded by the US agency of international development USAID. It is devoted to the people of Donbas region who have managed to change their lives in spite of the war unfolding in Eastern Ukraine.
