Blast at U.S. Embassy in Kyiv: no casualties

The explosion on the premises of U.S. Embassy took palce in Kyiv on early June 8. Ukraine’s Security Service and the National Police started a criminal investigation in the case. An unknown perpetrator threw an explosive device on the ground at about midnight, on June 8; no one was injured in the blast, the police say. The Embassy’s building is now shut off, with experts from the National Guard and the police checking the perimeter for any traces of explosives. The Embassy, however, said they operated normally.
