The  International Criminal Court in Hague equated the situation in the annexed Crimea with international armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia. This is stated in the annual report of the preliminary investigation by the Prosecutor of International Criminal Court Fatou Bensouda.

The document underlines that the conflict started after February 26 when Russia used its armed forces to gain control over a big part of the Ukrainian territory.

Apart from that, the Crimean Tatars are constantly reported to be harassed.

The Hague Tribunal ruled out the decision to continue collecting evidence in the case of annexed Crimea next year.
