The 56th so-called humanitarian convoy has crossed Russian-Ukrainian border. This was announced by the speaker of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleh Slobodyan on his Facebook page.

He also noted that Ukrainian side conducted only visual surveillance during the cargo documentation and that there were 69 trucks instead of the 60 announced in the documents.

Moscow claims the trucks carry food, medicine, construction materials and other basic necessities.

Ukraine has repeatedly stated that the Russian Federation is supplying petroleum, oil and lubricants, new military hardware, weapons and ammunition for the militants in Donbas under the disguise of humanitarian convoys.
