47,000 police workers to guard polling stations on election day in Ukraine

47,000 police workers will be keeping public order at polling stations in Ukraine on Sunday, July 21. Deputy Head of the National Police Oleksandr Fatsevych reported that at a briefing.

Another 10,000 will be patrolling the streets in towns and villages on the voting day.

Special attention will be paid to district electoral commissions that are supposed to get the electoral protocols.

The overall number of law enforcers involved in the election process makes more than 131,000 law enforcers.
