350 migrants rescued in the Mediterranean by Coast Gguard of Italy

Three hundred fifty migrants rescued in the Mediterranean by the coast guard of Italy. Infants were among them.

Three separate operations were conducted for that purpose. Illegal migrants were using inflatable boats.

In general three thousand five hundred migrants were saved by the coast guard on the Italian shores. More than 250 thousand arrived to the country since the beginning of the year. This is more than in 2015.

Migration crisis lasts in Europe since the beginning of 2016. According to EUROSTAT, more than a million people have already applied for the asylum in the countries of the European Union.
