2018 Paralympics in Pyeongchang: Ukraine comes third in overall medal count

Oksana Shyshkova, the biathlete won the fifth gold medal for Ukraine at 2018 Winter Paralympics. The Ukrainian athlete took the first place in the women’s 10 km among the visually impaired athletes.

 The Paralympics kicked off in South Korea's Pyeongchang on March 9. This time, the Games involve 48 countries from across the globe. Ukraine is represented by 20 athletes competing in biathlon, cross-country skiing and snowboarding.
