ZIK TV channel claims an attempted illegal seizure by the Verkhovna Rada deputy Hlib Zagoriy. This is stated by the media holding of the same name, published on ZIK website on Friday.

The management of the TV channel says the cause of the recent events surrounding the investigation of the fatal road accident in Yamelne with the car from the motorcade of TV channel investor Petro Dyminsky, the owner's refusal to "transfer the channel for management for 3 years".

"With such a proposal, people's deputy from Petro Poroshenko Bloc Hlib Zagoriy and his wife Yekateryna Kotenko (ex-member of the National TV Council) recently addressed Lviv businessman, who is currently abroad, on behalf of the Presidential Administration. After this unsuccessful illegal seizure attempt began manipulations of public opinion by law enforcement agencies about Dyminsky's involvement in the road accident," the statement said.
