The team of presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky requested that Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs provides the candidate with security. Ivan Varchenko, the advisor of the Minister of Internal Affairs, stated this on the session, as Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“We were guarding nine presidential candidates until the first round of the elections. Zelensky’s team asked to provide Zelensky with such security, who will be in the ballot paper in the second round,” Varchenko said.
