The All-Ukrainian poll initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky that was held on the elections day partially created illegal political advantage for partakers of the election process from the party of power. Interfax-Ukraine reported this, citing Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Ingibjörg Solrun Gisladottir.
“We might note that the survey initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky that took place near the polling stations on the elections day and that was financed by his political party and also concerned the initiatives imposed by his Office, created illegal political advantage and blurred the lines between the state and political party,” she said.
Besides, Gisladottir noted that the people who worked during the presidential survey mostly stood outside the polling stations and did not show any activity; however, they were quite noticeable.
Earlier, Gisladottir stated that the process of local elections in Ukraine took place smoothly and was transparent.
