Ruslan Ryaboshapka, the advisor of Ukraine’s presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky, believes that political debates are pointless, as Hromadske reported.
“I consider it pointless, pardon me, this is a dog fight, when people put a show instead of a discussion or exchange of views concerning the programs,” Ryaboshapka stated.
He also does not see any point to discuss the teams and the program of his candidate with Poroshenko.
“Discuss these people and the action plan with Poroshenko? I don’t see any point. There might be a question to Zelensky from Poroshenko, who considers him Kolomoisky’s (Ukrainian business oligarch, - ed.) puppet? Maybe he should debate with Kolomoisky? Or Kolomoisky with Medvedchuk (the Chairman of “Opposition Platform – For Life” political party, - ed.),” the advisor said.
Earlier, Poroshenko claimed the necessity of debates during the second round of the presidential elections. In his turn, Zelensky said he was ready to that.
National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine invited both of the candidates to the television debates.
