President of the World Bank David Malpass expressed readiness to provide support to Ukraine on the implementation of the land reform and development of the agricultural sector as Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Twitter.
“We have discussed with World Bank’s President David Malpass the land reform, irrigation, and development of the agricultural sector that the World Bank is ready to support,” Zelensky noted.
He welcomed the readiness of this international financial organization to participate in the transformation of Ukraine, particularly, in the infrastructure projects, energy programs, development of the banking sector.
As we reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in the United States to meet with his American counterpart, Joe Biden.
During his visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. Besides, Zelensky and US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm raised the issue of maintaining gas transit through Ukraine after the launch of Nord Stream 2.
As we reported, the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine Energoatom and American company Westinghouse Electric signed a memorandum on the construction of the Khmelnitskyi Nuclear Power Plant.
