President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky while calling on the parliament to resign has taken the huge responsibility for future challenges. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated this during the session, broadcasted by 112.Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman will resign on Wednesday, May 22.
He said that he would file the application after the Government’s session on May 22.
“I think all of you understand that the Government demits office before the newly elected Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and not before the newly elected President. At the same time, I decided to resign right after another session of the Government. I would like to stress that over three years of the work of our Government I am not ashamed for what we have managed to do and the adequate way in which we reacted to the challenges and crisis we faced,” Groysman said.
As it was reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky invited leaders of the parliamentary factions to discuss the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada.
