President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Kyiv, through the President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan, handed over to Russia the list of illegally detained citizens, but there is no answer yet. He stated this during a press conference "30 Questions to President of Ukraine".

"We have a verified full list. The list has been handed over to Turkey, I recently spoke with President Erdogan, he had a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and he passed the lists to the Russian side. I want to thank him because he I asked for it, he asked for Crimean Tatars in general. I thanked him. We are waiting for an answer, there is no answer yet," Zelensky said.

Meanwhile, President of the European Council Charles Michel informed President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky about the results of his conversation yesterday with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin regarding the tense situation on the Ukrainian borders.

"One of these results is the belief that de-escalation of the situation could be helped by contacts between the Ukrainian and Russian sides with the participation of the EU," Michel said.

He agreed with Zelensky to continue to coordinate his positions on ways to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
