President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wants to create a "court in smartphone", which will speed up the legal process and minimize corruption in Ukraine. Zelensky announced this, speaking at the all-Ukrainian forum Ukraine 30.
"Ensuring transparency of the court. IT solutions can be an effective step in this. By analogy with government services in a smartphone, we strive and will certainly make a court in a smartphone," Zelensky said.
He explained that this would mean that "most of the bureaucratic procedures will be online, which will speed up the legal process, minimize corruption and opportunities for abuse."
As we reported earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky removed from office for another month the head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tupytsky. This is stated in the text of the decree No. 79/2021.
"To remove Tupytsky Oleksandr from the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine from February 28, 2021 for a period of one month," the message says.
On December 25, the presidential representative in the Constitutional Court, Fedir Venyslavsky, said that the head of the Court was summoned to the office of the Prosecutor General on December 28 to present a suspicion about the recordings on which they discuss obstruction of the investigation and the activities of the court.
