Lawyer Ihor Holovan said that Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky had been summoned to the Supreme Court at the lawsuit of ex-President Petro Poroshenko. The lawyer published the summons on his Facebook page.
"The Supreme Court summons you to take part in the court hearing on the administrative case of Poroshenko Petro to Zelensky Volodymyr on the recognition of inaction as illegal and the obligation to take certain actions," the summons reads.
The court hearing will take place at 15:00 on February 28, 2022.
Earlier, in summer Poroshenko filed a lawsuit against President Zelensky.
According to lawyer Holovan, the lawsuit is related to the so-called journalistic investigation so-called "Medvedchuk's records." Poroshenko believes that the President's Office is involved in the "records," and the material was edited so that the final video was directed against the ex-president.
Poroshenko's defense filed a lawsuit on behalf of the politician against President Zelensky and the non-governmental organization that published the investigation, demanding that the organization’s concealment of the "wiretapping" be ruled illegal and that all records be made public in their original form.
It should be noted that the other day Poroshenko was pressed charges against for treason.
