President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he suggested Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin go on working at his position, but he refused. Head of State said this on the air of one TV channels, as Interfax-Ukraine reported.
“Klimkin is a professional diplomat. By the way, I have suggested him staying in our team, because we have a difficult international situation, and he knows about this. However, he decided to become a politician,” Zelensky said.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Integration Olena Zerkal accompanied President of Ukraine Zelensky during his visit to NATO headquarters.
In addition, Secretary of the National Defense and Security Council Olexandr Danyliuk, Vice-Prime-Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Vadym Prystaiko and the permanent representative of Ukraine to EU Mykola Tochytsky were the members of the delegation as well.
