President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the panic among people in connection with the evacuation of Ukrainians from Wuhan was sown deliberately, and it incited people to savagery. Zelensky said this in a video message broadcasted by the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"I understand that a certain part of the local residents had a concern. We know that some people deliberately and intentionally sowed panic among people and then incited to this savagery. The organizers will be held responsible," Zelensky said.
"To all the directors of this theater, I want to say: there are times when there are no interests or opposition, but there are interests of Ukraine. And responsibility is shared, for some it’s a political one, and for someone it’s a criminal one,” he said.
As we reported before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes in the rapid return of Ukrainians, evacuated from China, to their families. He said this during a speech at a business forum.
He added that he was concerned about the behavior of Ukrainians who had opposed the placement of evacuees in the sanatoriums that were located near the inhabited areas.
