President Volodymyr Zelensky has reacted to the information of Western mass media about the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine. According to him, "psychological pressure" from Russia on Ukraine has not been effective for a long time as the Telegram channel of the president reported.
“Recently there was information about a possible exacerbation of the “disease” – our Western partners provided data on the active movement of Russian troops along the Ukrainian borders and an increase in their concentration. First of all, we are grateful to our partners for the information. I hope that now the whole world sees who really wants peace, and who is concentrating almost 100,000 troops on our border,” Zelensky said.
At the same time, he noted that shelling and explosions, accumulations and movements of troops have been taking place at the front for the eighth year in a row.
"Psychological pressure from the Russian Federation has not been affecting us for a long time. Our special services, our intelligence have complete information. Our army is ready to repulse anyone, anytime, anywhere," the president added.
As we reported, Politico published new satellite photos taken by Western experts on Monday confirm recent reports that Russia is again concentrating troops and military hardware on the border with Ukraine. The images were taken by Colorado-based US space technology company Maxar Technologies.
However, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksiy Danilov denied this information and called it “deliberate disinformation”.
Later, Bloomberg published the report of Janes Company, which states that Russia is moving tanks to the Ukrainian border. This time, observers noticed a battalion of T80-U tanks in the Voronezh region.
