President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, promised not to allow Ukraine's interference in the American elections. The press service of the President's Office reports.

"The President noted that he would not allow any interference of Ukraine in the American electoral process, and any attempts by individual politicians to make certain statements have a clearly pronounced provocative trace of the joint opponents of Ukraine and the United States," reads the message.

The head of state also noted Ukraine's importance of cooperation with the United States in the field of security and the adoption of measures to ensure its implementation.

Zelensky informed Pompeo about the efforts of the Ukrainian side to achieve progress in a peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas.

"Ceasefire in Donbas lasts for 31 days. Fortunately, there are no combat losses among our forces. This became possible thanks to our work and thanks to the support - European and yours," Zelensky said.

In turn, Pompeo assured that Ukraine is supported by the US.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the situation in Belarus. Zelensky expressed hope that the freedom of the Belarusian people would be realized in the near future.
