Zelensky presents Ukraine at the World Economic Forum in Davos

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met Board Chairman and Director-General of Cargill Inc. David MacLennan within the World Economic Forum in Davos. They discussed the investments in the processing of the agrarian products as the President’s Office reported.

Zelensky stated that the launch of the land reform would become the engine of growth of the agrarian sector and economy.

“We are looking forward to working with Cargill Financial on launching farmers lending instruments to increase crop yield and acquire state-of-the-art agricultural technology," the President of Ukraine said.

The parties discussed the reform of the railway connection.

“In December 2019, the Cabinet of Minister approved the launch of the pilot project on the admission of the private locomotives for particular routes,” Zelensky said.

He also added that Ukraine plans to attract more investments of Cargill company for procession of agrarian products.

As we reported, the World Economic Forum has started in Davos. Ukraine is presented at the forum by President Volodymyr Zelensky who came to Switzerland on January 22.
