President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the Cabinet of Ministers to develop and submit the bills on the legalization of the gambling business and amber-mining to the Verkhovna Rada. The parliament, in its turn, should adopt them until December 1, 2019, as 112 Ukraine reported.
Thus, until October 1, the government should prepare and submit the bills on the legalization of the gambling business and amber-mining until October 1. Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk and Finance Minister Oksana Markarova appointed responsible for submitting the proper draft laws.
“To adopt the bills on the legalization of the gambling business, on the legalization of amber-mining. The term is up to December 1, 2019,” the president ordered. Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov and Head of Servant of the People Party David Arakhamia were appointed responsible for the adoption of the bills.
On August 12, President Zelensky visited Zhytomyr region. He asked to dismiss the heads of the police and head of Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Zhytomyr region during the meeting due to the illegal amber-mining.
