President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the law enforcers to establish people involved in the leak of the audio recording from the session of Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk and representatives of the National Bank. Zelensky provided them two weeks as the President’s Office reported.
"I demand to get information in two weeks, as soon as possible. Find out who did it and deal with it," Volodymyr Zelensky said.
The president ordered to establish the circle of persons who were present at the negotiations and establish the circumstances of them.
According to Honcharuk, the first published excerpt was recorded during the meeting, which lasted for five years.
Earlier, Honcharuk found himself in the wiretapping scandal; Ukrainian media leaked the embarrassing conversation among Honcharuk, ministers of his Cabinet, members of the President's Office and National Bank officials. The interlocutors discussed the ways how to explain President Zelensky pros and cons of the declining dollar exchange rate. Apparently, the officials referred to Zelensky's poor economic education.
Later, the State Security Administration of Ukraine stated that information about the leakage of wiretapping records of the meeting with Ukraine’s Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk is not true.
