President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has offered Chief Operating Officer of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg and Vice President of Facebook Nick Clegg to consider the possibility of opening of the company’s office in Ukraine. Zelensky offered it during the video conference with the top managers of Facebook as the President’s Office reported.
“We are committed to providing the best service and support to our Ukrainian users. This is reflected in different actions across the company, including the recent launch of Facebook Amber Alert in Ukraine, and we hope to strengthen our cooperation in the future,” Sheryl Sandberg noted.
Zelensky has invited the Facebook representatives to visit Diya Summit that will take place in Kyiv on November 29.
Besides, the partakers of the conference have discussed the issue of opening of the research and development center (R & D center) of the Facebook company in Ukraine.
On September 2, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in California within the working visit to the U.S. The same day, Zelensky held a meeting with Chief Executive Officer of Apple company Tim Cook.
