President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has offered US President Joe Biden to create the free trade zone between Ukraine and the U.S. as RBK-Ukraine reported citing Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

“The initiative that we have offered to the Americans is the free trade zone between Ukraine and the United States because we want to enhance our economy. We understand if we want to fight, we need a powerful economy that allows creating reserves and spending them for defense,” Kuleba noted.

Besides, he reminded about the discussion on the visa-free regime that Ukraine holds with the U.S., the UK and Canada. However, Zelensky raised the issue of the free trade zone during the visit to Washington.
