On the sidelines of the 56th Munich Security Conference, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva. The press service of the President’s Office reported that.
It is noted that this is the second meeting of the head of the Ukrainian state with the head of the IMF this year.
“Our meeting with Kristalina Georgieva was constructive, as always. We discussed the latest developments and positive achievements in our economy that will benefit every Ukrainian. Our dialogue with the IMF is meaningful, and our relations are friendly,” Zelensky said.
It is also reported that the parties discussed bills that will help Ukraine achieve stable growth and provide protection mechanisms for its citizens. In particular, they talked about the course of the judicial reform, the construction of the rule of law system, and the so-called bill on banks.
As we reported before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky began a two-day working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
