Earlier, it was reported that Russia has moved to the final stage of the Nord Stream 2 construction.

Ukraine, Poland, the Baltic countries and the USA are actively opposing Nord Stream 2. They call on the European Union to block the project, saying that it is a "gas needle" that increases the dependence of Europeans on energy supplies from the Russian Federation.

In case of the launch of two pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters per year, Ukraine will lose $ 2-3 billion in revenue from the transit of blue fuel through its gas transportation system, which is almost 3% of the country's GDP. The commissioning of Nord Stream 2, estimated at 9.5 billion Euros, is scheduled for late 2019.
