In New York, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with business representatives and potential investors from the American Jewish Committee, a Jewish human rights organization, the press service of the head of state reports.
“I invite you to become part of the process of transformation of Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
According to him, it is about the implementation of European and Euro-Atlantic standards in the country. In this context, the President counts on the support of American partners, which will allow for the implementation of appropriate transformations in the short term.
“ I urge you to join the implementation of this plan,” he said.
The President also invited representatives of the Jewish community in the United States to join the preparations in Ukraine for mourning events in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Jewish community of the United States of America, which has historical ties with the Ukrainian state and has made a significant contribution to the development of strategic relations between Ukraine and the United States.
As it was reported earlier, in the beginning of September President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented the document, which contains the plan of "transformation" of Ukraine.
Zelensky also met with Apple CEO Tim Cook and delivered a speech at Stanford University on Ukraine's main goals for the near future. He spoke about the idea of introducing dual citizenship for Ukrainians living abroad.
