President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has invited U.S. President Joe Biden to pay the official visit to Ukraine. It was reported during the press conference of Zelensky and U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken.
“In this fundamental for Ukrainians year – 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, within which the Crimean Platform takes place – the first platform for support of Crimea, on de-occupation of our peninsula, I have invited the U.S. President and Vice President. We believe that this year, such symbolic for Ukraine, the U.S. will be definitely with us; will pay official and unofficial visits,” Zelensky said.
On May 5, U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken came with the official visit to Ukraine. However, the official part of the visit will start on May 6. The meeting of Blinken with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Prime Minister Denys Shmygal is planned. Besides, Blinken will meet President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
