President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky invited the 46th US President Joe Biden to Kyiv and expressed confidence that relations between the countries would improve. He wrote about this on Twitter.

"Watching the inauguration of the new US President in the new office on Bankova St. I’ll be glad to welcome Joe Biden in the well-known Kyiv. I’m sure our relations will be enhanced," Zelensky wrote.

As we reported earlier, Joe Biden has taken the oath of office, becoming the 46th president of the United States. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts swore him in.

“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God,” Biden said.
