Zelensky includes Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov in Ukraine's Defense Council

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov as a member of the National Security and Defense Council. This was stated in Presidential Decree #102/2021.

"Appoint Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation as the member of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," the decree reads.

The decree comes into force from the date of publication.

As previously reported, the National Security and Defense Council will consider sanctions against Igor Kolomoisky "if offers come up." The organization added that the list of Ukrainian bodies authorized to propose sanctions, their dismissal or any amendments to these restriction includes President, Parliament, Cabinet of Ministers, National Bank of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine.
