President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky hopes that the agenda and date of meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin will be determined soon as the President’s Office reported.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the Russian side delays holding of the meeting without certain reasons.

“I believe that our meeting with the president of Russia is inevitable. Only if he does not want to end something, the meeting will not take place. I believe there are no other reasons. That is why we will hope that soon we get a date, agenda, and terms that are important,” Zelensky said.

Meanwhile, the president reminded the words of Putin that he “stands for the meeting with Ukraine” but he has to understand the agenda.

“But we understand - frankly speaking, what agenda? Come to our streets, I believe, that Russia knows what happening. Everybody understands clearly – there is war in Donbas. Everybody understands who occupied Crimea, everybody knows who help separatists. Any person, despite the position, among the Russian will tell: how long can you make war? We had a common history, our “grandfathers went to war”. It is not basic stuff; it is direct and clear things. Everybody knows the agenda,” Zelensky underlined.
