President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky granted Ukrainian citizenship to 11 foreigners who defended the territorial integrity of the country in Donbas. The press office of the president stated that.

According to the document, 11 people received Ukrainian passports. Among them is Tymerkhan Munayev, the son of Isa Munayev, the deceased commander of the International Peacekeeping Battalion named after Dzhokhar Dudayev. Tymerkhan’s father died near Debaltseve in Donbas in February 2015. 

It is mentioned that all the persons who received the Ukrainian nationality were directly involved in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in Donbas conflict.

As 112 international reported, Volodymyr Zelensky asked Belarus to provide “some support”.

“It seems we have not a bad relationship with Ukraine. We talked with the president (Volodymyr Zelensky, - 112.international). They asked for some support. What do we say, shall we provide it or not?,” said Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko.
