During a visit to Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky handed over to US leader Joe Biden a list of 450 prisoners who are in the uncontrolled territories of Donbas, Crimea, as well as in Russia. Part of the meeting was shown on Dom TV channel. 

Zelensky, for his part, asked the US leader to help release illegally imprisoned Ukrainians.

"In the morning, we gave your team a list of people who are in captivity in the occupied part of Donbas, in the Crimea, in Russia. And there are about 450 of them. How can the United States help in this matter," the President of Ukraine noted.

Meanwhile, a meeting between US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky began in Washington.

The meeting began at 21:00 (Kyiv time) in the Oval Office of the White House.

"The meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the President of the United States Joseph Biden has begun in the White House (Washington). Before the talks, the heads of state will make short statements to the media. After that, negotiations will take place in an expanded format, as well as face-to-face.
