Zelensky forms delegation on talks with Malaysia on transfer of convicted people

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky formed a delegation for participation in talks between Ukraine and Malaysia concerning the preparation of the draft treaty on transfer of convicted persons between the countries, as the decree of the President No. 554/2019 as of July 24 reads.

According to the document, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Malaysia Oleksandr Nechytaylo was appointed the Head of the delegation.

Head of International treaties and official transfers department of international law of Ukraine’s MFA Sergiy Koleda, Head of criminal legislation, legal procedures and international law department of Main State Department of President’s Office Lyudmyla Marchenko and Deputy Director of the department, Head of international legal assistance management of department of international law of Ukraine’s Justice Ministry Kateryna Shevchenko will be the members of the delegation.

It was noted that the Head of the delegation can make necessary changes in the composition of the delegation attracting the members of Expert commission on the preparation of the drafts of international treaties of Ukraine on legal relations and legal assistance in civil and criminal cases.

Cabinet of Ministers is responsible for talks on financial support.
