Zelensky wanted to feel everything for himself.
“I suggested to our people: “Let me get sick, I will stay isolated on Bankova Street and I will survive it normally. So that people understand - it's scary, you can get sick, you feel bad. And I'll let it pass through myself, and show it,” Zelensky said.
Ukraine’s President stated that he was not afraid of contracting the coronavirus, but abandoned the idea, deciding that “it is too much.” He added that his family would not have forgiven him for such an act and would have called him crazy.
As of June 9, there are 27, 856 cases of coronavirus in Ukraine. During the previous day, 394 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded. Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in Ukraine, 810 people have died and 12,412 have recovered.
