President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree imposing sanctions on 312 individuals and 103 legal entities proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers. In particular, by his decree, Zelensky imposed sanctions against businessmen Dmytro Firtash and Pavlo Fuks. The relevant decree was published on the president's website.
"To put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine from June 18, 2021 "On application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)", the decree reads.
In particular, by his decree Zelensky imposed sanctions against Dmytro Firtash and Pavlo Fuks. The head of state also imposed sanctions on a number of Russian citizens, including Gazprom's Chairman Alexey Miller.
In addition, Zelensky by this decree imposed sanctions on Russian airlines, including PJSC Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, JSC Russian Helicopters, Ural Airlines and others.
Earlier, businessman Pavlo Fuks said that his Russian passports were invalid.
