President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky convenes an extraordinary plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on July 13. The relevant document was published by Oleksiy Honcharenko, MP from European Solidarity, on his Telegram channel.
There are five issues on the agenda, including the legalization of cannabis.
In addition, parliamentarians plan to consider:
- Draft law "On reforming the enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of the state ownership";
- Amendments to the Tax Code regarding the of taxation of business activities of electronic residents;
- A project to improve the work of the Antimonopoly Committee;
- A draft to criminalize the smuggling of goods and excisable goods, as well as the false declaration of goods.
This week the Verkhovna Rada finishes the fifth session and goes on vacation untill September 7. The extraordinary session will take place on August 24 (Independence Day).
