President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the announcement of four people suspected in the involvement in the crash of MH17 plane in 2014, as the Presidential Administration reported on Twitter.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine welcomes the conclusions of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), announced on June 19 in the Netherlands.

“The president of Ukraine hopes that not only people notified with suspicion by the Security Service of Ukraine will appear in the dock of the international tribunal but all, who are guilty in the daring murder of innocent children, women, and men,” the message said.

Prosecutor’s Office of the Netherlands will press charges on MH17 crash in Donbas in June, 2014 against Igor Girkin (Strelkov), Sergiy Dubynsky, Oleg Pulatov, and Leonid Kharchenko.

Earlier it was reported that the relatives of MH17 tragedy victims held a protest in the Russian Embassy in the Hague. The protesters urged Russian authorities to accept the responsibility for Boeing 777 crash.

Boeing 777 of Malaysian Airlines, flight number MH17 was destroyed while performing a regular flight from the Netherlands to Malaysia in July 2014. The tragedy took place in the sky over the militant-held section of Donetsk region. All 298 people aboard deceased; most of the victims, 196, were Dutch, but there were citizens of another nine countries as well.

The governments of Australia and the Netherlands officially accused Russia of being behind the disaster.
