On Thursday, May 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree on changes in the composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. Zelensky entered a new Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko to the National Security and Defense Council. The relevant decree was published on the president's website.
"To introduce Herman Halushchenko, Minister of Energy of Ukraine, to the personnel of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," the text of the presidential decree reads.
The decree on the introduction of the minister to the National Security and Defense Council came into force on the day of its publication.
Earlier, Halushchenko was elected the Minister of Energy of Ukraine after Acting Minister Yuriy Vitrenko was appointed Chairman of Naftogaz.
