President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed a new representative of Ukraine at the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva. It is mentioned in the order #148/2021 dated April 6.
“To appoint Yevhenia I. Filipenko as Permanent Representative of Ukraine at UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva,” the document says.
Earlier, Yuriy Klymenko occupied this position; however, Zelensky dismissed him the same day by order #146/2021.
It is known that earlier, new Ukraine's representative headed the Department of International Organizations of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
It is not the only personnel replacements in the diplomatic field that was made by Zelensky on Tuesday.
On April 6, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed seven Ukrainian diplomats, including six ambassadors to different countries and organizations.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Polina Lysenko as the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation. Polina Lysenko graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2015 with a Master's Degree in law, and until 2019 she studied at this university for a research degree.
