Zelensky appoints Kuleshov as the Head of Counterintelligence Department in information security area

President of Ukraine appointed Mykola Kuleshov as the Head of Counterintelligence Department in the area of information security of Ukraine’s Security Service, as the decree No. 590/2019 as of August 9 reads.

“To appoint Mykola Kuleshov as the Head of Counterintelligence Department in the area of information security of Ukraine’s Security Service,” the document reads.

Mykola Kyleshov is SBU Colonel. Since 2014, he worked on the post of First Deputy Head of Department of Counterintelligence Protection of state interests in the area of information security.

As it was reported, Kuleshov replaced Oleksandr Klimchuk on the post. Zelensky dismissed Klimchuk on July 26.
