President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the introduction of an "economic passport" for Ukrainians as he stated during the speech at the Verkhovna Rada.

Such passports will be issued to children born in Ukraine, which will accumulate funds from rent payments for mineral resources. Children will be able to use these funds after reaching the age of majority. They can spend them on education in Ukraine or on the purchase of accommodation.
The President will submit the relevant bill to parliament by December 10.
"Until December 10. According to it, all funds, payments for the use of our Ukrainian subsoil will be accumulated on the personal accounts of children-citizens of Ukraine. Upon reaching adulthood, our children will be able to use this money for education, education in Ukraine, respected politicians, education of children in Ukraine or buying their own life in Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
