Zelensky announces construction of highway that unites Lviv and Luhansk regions

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, the highway would be built that ‘unites east and west of the country’ as Zelensky reported at Ukraine 30. Infrastructure.

“Another project is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine; it is the M-30 highway. It will be the longest road in Ukraine with a length of 1,400 km that unites east and west of our country,” Zelensky said.

The construction and renewal of 245 bridges, construction of hundreds of schools, hospitals and kindergartens are among the plans of the president.

Moreover, according to Zelensky, within the Big Construction project, passenger trains will be created in Ukraine that enables to hold the trip within three-four hours.

Besides, the president stated that about 150 objects of the cultural heritage will be refurbished in Ukraine. It is planned to do within the next three years.

Earlier, Zelensky’s team stated that the membership of Ukraine in the European Union stopped being hypothetical – it is a matter of time that should be solved until the end of the current decade.
