'Zelensky and Trump will find chemistry' - Ukraine's Ambassador to U.S. on future meeting

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly told about preparations to the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in an interview for Voice of America.

He stressed that the Embassy is dealing with the development of the future visit. The representatives of the team of Ukraine’s leader would arrive in the U.S. next week to discuss the format, aim, all the key issues of the meeting. According to Chaly, the visit is scheduled for August-September.

“Zelensky, Ukraine, the U.S. doesn’t need a picture, just a picture of two Presidents. They will find chemistry with each other. They already did while talking on the phone. Another thing is the sense,” the Ambassador commented.

Chaly added that Ukraine’s President was not going to America for now not because he did not have time for that, but because this visit required substantial preparation.
