President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to dismiss the Secretary of National Security and Defense Coucil Oleksandr Danylyuk. Censor.net agency reports this.

The head of state will sign Danylyuk's resignation letter. He made this decision after a number of consultations on Saturday and Sunday.

As it was reported, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Danylyuk wrote a letter of resignation on September 27. The Office of the President noted that Zelensky would consider the letter after return to Kyiv from America. Danylyuk also confirmed information about the resignation.

Earlier mass media reported that Danylyuk filed the letter of resignation and he might be appointed as the ambassador to the U.S. or UK.

In May 2019, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Oleksandr Danylyuk as the NSDC Secretary.
